- As of 2009, Adoption Insight has become a Registered California
Adoption Facilitator. You might be asking yourself what this
means? Well, in 2006, California made some changes in
legislation to protect birth parents and adoptive parents in their
dealings with Adoption Facilitators. This only means more
regulation towards Adoption Facilitators of California. Any
Adoption Facilitator in California providing facilitation services
independently from an adoption agency or adoption attorney must
be registered with the California Department of Social Services
(CDSS). You can find more information regarding this topic on the
Department of Social Services Website a (www.childsworld.ca.gov)
Adoption Insight provides the following services for Adoptive Parent(s):
- Help finding situations with birth mothers that match their criteria.
- Recommends adoption professionals such as attorneys, agencies,
doctors, counselors, or any other professional that can assist with
adoption placement. - Assists in constructing an adoption plan of action
- Directs adoptive parent(s) to agencies/social workers who provide
home study services - Councils interested /prequalified parties through entire adoption
process - Pre-screen individuals for the qualification process of adopting.
If you feel that you might be interested in working with Adoption Insight
below you will find the usual procedure for adoptive parent(s).
- We recommend that you fill out and submit our online
Adoptive Family Questionnaire. By doing so, you will be added to
our e-mail list and receive updates on any new situations. - Adoption Insight will need copies of Adoptive Family's
Profile/Portfolio. (This will help us present you to our potential
adoption situations). - Adoption Insight will need a copy of your Home-study if you decide
to proceed with an adoption situation.
